Deep Tide TechFlow news: On July 17, according to Coinglass data, Coinbase’s Bitcoin premium index has been in a negative premium range for 60 consecutive days (from May 19 to now). The latest value is -0.0908%, setting a new record for the longest continuous period of negative premium since the index was launched.

Previously, the longest record was 40 days from January 16 to February 24 this year. Historically, long-term negative premiums often reflect weaker demand for U.S. institutional funds, which may create some short-term downward pressure on Bitcoin’s price.
