BlockBeats, July 17, according to BIT (bit.com) market data, US stock semiconductor stocks are broadly down in pre-market trading: Applied Materials down 6.10%, Lam Research down 5.46%, TSMC down 4.70%, KLA down 4.68%, Arm and Intel both down 4.52%, AMD down 4.42%, Micron Technology down 4.24%, and Nvidia down 2.95%.

The storage sector leads the declines: SanDisk down 6.10%, Western Digital down 5.75%, Seagate Technology down 5.63%, Micron Technology down 4.24%, and SK hynix down 3.49%.

Optical communication concept stocks all fall sharply: Coherent down 6.26%, Applied Optoelectronics down 6.00%, Credo down 5.76%, Corning down 5.51%, Ciena down 5.17%, and Astera Labs down 5.08%.
