CZ: Crypto asset penetration is still below 1%, and there is still a lot of room for growth in the future
BlockBeats news, July 17, CZ said on the Talking Tokens podcast that many people still view crypto assets as speculative investments and focus on when to exit, but crypto and blockchain are essentially foundational technologies and should not be understood only from the perspective of short-term prices.
CZ ranked blockchain alongside the internet and AI as three foundational technologies he has experienced, and believes that measured by wealth scale, the current penetration rate of the crypto industry is still below 1%, and there is still plenty of room for growth in the future.
CZ also said that in the future, we should not continue to distinguish between traditional finance and crypto finance. The tokenization of stocks and banks and financial institutions adopting blockchain have already shown that the two are converging, and ultimately there will be just one financial system.
