In response, Alibaba said that Qianwen will be integrated as an AI capability into Apple Intelligence, bringing a richer intelligent experience to Chinese users of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and visionOS.
Users won’t need to frequently switch between different apps; they can directly experience Qianwen’s various capabilities on Apple devices, such as text and image understanding and content generation, making overall operations more convenient and efficient.
This time, the onshore (China) version of Apple Intelligence has officially passed approval, meaning Apple’s AI services will soon reach users in China, filling the final missing piece in the intelligent experience on domestically sold Apple devices.
