Deribit: About $1.46B in Bitcoin and Ethereum options expire today



On July 17, according to Deribit official data, about $1.46B worth of Bitcoin and Ethereum options will expire today at 16:00.

Of these, BTC options have a notional value of about $1.22B, with a put/call ratio of 0.93. The maximum pain point is $63,000, and short-term expiration sentiment is overall bullish;

ETH options have a notional value of about $241 million, with a put/call ratio of 1.73. The maximum pain point is $1,825, and short-term expiration sentiment is overall bearish.

Overall, Bitcoin options sentiment is bullish while Ethereum is bearish, reflecting the market’s different expectations for the two major cryptocurrencies.

As the settlement time approaches, the market may see battles around these key price levels, and leveraged traders should be prepared to deal with short-term risk and volatility.
