The main Bitcoin short trader behind the $45.9 million BTC short opened yesterday successfully exited it on July 17, earning about $974,000 in profit. This short position was triggered for a full forced liquidation after Bitcoin fell below the preset take-profit level of $63,500 this morning. Based on an average opening price of $64,939.80, the position realized a profit of about $974,000; after deducting total opening and closing fees of about $33,000, the net profit was approximately $941,000.
