Golden Finance reported, citing Russian news agency RIA Novosti, that when asked whether Tehran believes the memorandum signed with Washington is still in effect, Ahmad, a member of the Iranian parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, said: “The memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States is currently no longer in effect, but if Washington resumes implementation, Tehran is prepared to reactivate the memorandum. However, it currently appears that the United States is not ready to resume implementation, but if the United States does so, Iran may also reconsider its position on this issue.” (Jin Ten)
