A brief analysis of BTC short-term trends from the perspective of Dow Theory, Chan Theory, Elliott Wave Theory, the relationship between volume and price, order flow, and price action (strategy suggestions)
$BTC #BTC Comprehensive assessment
Dow Theory indicates the main trend is still a deep decline, and after falling below the key support at 64,000 on July 16, it shows a signal that downside momentum has strengthened again—entering a phase of accelerated selling in the short term.
Chan Theory shows extremely strong downward strokes (-1,819) and weak upward strokes (+1,249). It is currently in an accelerated downtrend phase after the breakdown of the central consolidation (middle fractal).
Elliott Wave Theory confirms that the new upward wave has failed: the 2nd wave retracement went too deep (-1,819), and a new downward move has begun.
The volume-price relationship shows a negative combination of "another crash accompanied by a volume expansion."
Order flow shows POC at 64,036; price is slightly below the POC and thus in a mild discount state, with the Delta MA12 turning sharply negative.
Price action displays a pattern of "Eve's Star" + "high-volume bearish candle" + "panic selling," indicating that short-term bears have taken control again.
Short-term strategy suggestions:
Bullish scenario: If price shows signs of low-volume capitulation and bottoming around 63,000–63,500, and Delta turns positive, you may go long. Targets: 64,000 → 64,500 → 65,000. Stop loss: 62,500.
Bearish scenario: If a rebound reaches 64,000–64,500 and forms a top fractal along with a selloff on increased volume, confirming acceleration of the new downtrend, you may short. Targets: 63,000 → 62,500. Stop loss: 64,800.
Current status: 63,775 is in the panic zone after the latest leg of heavy selloff, and short-term bears are again in control. It is recommended to wait for a breakout above 64,500 to confirm the formation of a secondary high before chasing longs, or wait for a breakdown below 63,000 to confirm acceleration of the next downswing before chasing shorts.
