Zhipu ARR reached $1 billion, growing 15x in six months

36Kr learned from multiple independent sources that, as of July 2026, Zhipu’s ARR (annual recurring revenue) has reached $1 billion. Before the publication of this article, Zhipu had not responded to the above information. According to insiders, between January and July 2026, Zhipu’s ARR grew by 15 times. Zhipu’s official team previously said that the commercial value of large models can be understood as “intelligence upper limit × the scale of token consumption.” As long as the model’s capabilities continue to stay ahead, usage volume will keep increasing. Financial reports show that this year’s Q1 saw GLM’s API price cumulatively raised by about 83%; overseas subscription prices even approached those of Claude Code, yet call volume still increased by about 400%.
