Deep Tide TechFlow message: On July 17, according to Xinhua News Agency, Beijing Moonshot Technology Co., Ltd. officially released its next-generation large model, Kimi K3, on July 16. The model has a parameter scale of 2.8 trillion, making it the open-source model with the largest number of parameters in the world at present. Kimi K3 natively supports visual understanding and has a 1 million-token context window, and it is optimized for complex task scenarios such as software engineering, knowledge work, deep research, and multimodal understanding. Its overall intelligence level is close to that of leading global closed-source models. The model uses a bottom-layer architecture trained with independently developed technologies. Moonshot said that nearly 3 trillion parameters mean the model can store more knowledge and rules, enabling it to “understand more, think deeper, and answer more accurately.”
