This short position finally paid off. When $ONDO dropped from the highs in that move, the chart was very straightforward. A lot of people were still watching for a rebound at the time, but I wasn’t focused on whether it would go up—I was watching the upper support already start to look weak.

After shorting around 0.4096, what truly confirmed it for me was that each rebound was weaker than the last, and it couldn’t push up while volume kept selling. That means the bulls there were already unable to hold on. Now the price is at 0.3685, and this short is already up +483.22%—the room for the move has been released pretty cleanly.

I’m not going to get greedy to the very end here. The 80/20 handling feels better: book part of the profits first, and keep the rest with protection in place to see if it extends further. The contract is most afraid that once it’s making money, people get carried away—when the rhythm is in hand, yet it gets knocked back by a single rebound.

If this trade can be held, the key isn’t guessing the direction—it’s that after the high was under pressure, you stop chasing longs recklessly. If you didn’t enter, don’t force it. Chasing a short at this level also doesn’t feel good—wait for the next rebound to get a more comfortable entry.
