In the early session, this dump decisively pulled apart all the fake bullish strength from a few days ago. $BTC This short position’s payout was very clean.

On the chart a few days ago, the setup was easiest to mislead: price was just hovering, making it look like it might keep pushing higher, but the key is here—BTC never truly broke out on real volume. Instead, every time it tried to surge, it got pushed back down. Many people were waiting for it to keep climbing; I was waiting for it to fail on that push.

I opened a long around 76886.0. The logic is simple: resistance at the highs didn’t loosen, the rebound strength kept weakening, and sell orders started turning proactive. It’s now down to 64159.5, and the unrealized profit shows +2878.72%. This stretch of price action released room very directly.

After the profit comes out, don’t turn the trade into an emotional game. My approach is still 80/20: lock in most of it first, keep a smaller portion to watch for continuation, and the protective level must follow. If you missed it, don’t chase the short. If the position feels uncomfortable, just wait—waiting for the next opportunity will be steadier.
