According to a report by Coin World Network, citing Reuters, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang traveled to Tokyo, Japan before July 15 to attend celebrations marking the 30th anniversary of Nvidia’s collaboration with Japanese gaming giant Sega. At the event, he met with former Sega CEO Shuichiro Irie and game designer Yu Suzuki, and thanked them for their $5 million investment in 1995, which saved Nvidia from bankruptcy. In addition, Jensen Huang will attend a physics AI event hosted by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry today, and the market is highly focused on whether Nvidia will announce an alliance with Japan’s “physics AI model national team,” Noetra.

NVIDIA founder Huang Renxun personally went to Japan to thank the life-saving money from 30 years ago—this sense of gratitude is rarely seen in the tech industry. He also wants to discuss physical AI collaboration. Japan has a strong foundation in robotics, so a partnership between strong players is worth looking forward to.

Yukazu Suzuki and Kyoichiro Iri are legends in the gaming industry. If, back then, it hadn’t been for those $5 million, there might not be the current GPU king today. History is truly fascinating.
