This short position finally paid off, and the chart move was very decisive.

When $ESPORTS surged upward in the beginning, many people were still watching for a breakout. At the time, I was more focused on whether the buy-side support above could keep up. The moment that really caught my attention was when the price got close to 0.04289, the bids started to look weak—when it was pushed up, there was no follow-through. Instead, every time it bounced back, it was pushed down again. Something here was clearly off.

Later, the price action shifted from hesitation into downward pressure. Once the rhythm broke, the room for shorts opened up. Now the price is at 0.01981. This long entry’s unrealized profit is already +1060.01%, and the market’s upside/downside room has been released quite noticeably.

If you have positions, don’t just get excited about the profit. You can probably handle it in batches first—about 80%. For what remains, keep a protective stop and watch for further extension, so you don’t let the profit you’ve locked in get eaten back by a rebound. If you didn’t get in, don’t rush. The biggest risk at this kind of level is getting emotionally overhyped—don’t chase the trade; wait for the next more comfortable setup.
