This $ETH short has a very trade-like feel. The first half looks painstaking, but the second half directly cashes out. A lot of people only see the sudden drop, but what I care about more is that before the fall, the highs had already kept failing to hold.

After entering around 2185.21, I kept watching the strength of the rebound. As long as the rebound doesn’t break higher with increased volume, there’s still a reason to keep holding the short. Now the price has hit 1873.81—profit is +2484.42%. Once the room for price swings opens up, the position’s feedback becomes very direct.

The most testing part during the session is those few small pullbacks. Some people doubt the direction as soon as it rebounds; others only start thinking about chasing in when it falls again. In plain terms, once the rhythm changes, you can’t keep reading the chart with the old long-biased mindset.

Right now, I won’t expose all the profit to volatility. Brothers with larger positions can handle it in batches using an 80/20 split—keep the remaining position with protection levels, and let the market keep answering. If you miss it, don’t chase. After a rapid drop, shorting is not without risk—wait for the next opportunity.
