This wave isn’t a sudden dump—it's the main players slowly grinding down the high-level buyers after taking over, and only then do they start to truly release direction. $DOT couldn’t hold its ground on the previous few pushes up, and that’s when I felt something was off here.

I started holding the short from around 1.280. During the process there were also rebounds, but the momentum was weak—the price gets pushed back down whenever it approaches the key levels above. Now it has already been pulled up to 0.844, and the profit display shows +2416.92%. The price action has extended clearly. For this kind of trade, the most important thing isn’t how aggressively you call it—it’s whether you can hold through the volatility.

At the time, a lot of people saw a small rebound and wanted to flip long, but I was focusing on the speed of the pullback after the rebound. As long as the pullback is more resolute than the rise, the short-side momentum hasn’t ended yet.

Now the profit has already been released—don’t let emotion drive your position. For those with larger positions, you can take profit in batches using an 80/20 split first, and keep the remaining portion with a solid stop level to continue monitoring. If you haven’t entered, don’t chase it—chasing after a sharp selloff is very likely to get taught by a rebound. Wait for the next opportunity.
