Deep Tide TechFlow news: On July 17, according to CoinDesk, hardware wallet manufacturer Ledger launched an open-source toolkit, Ledger Agent Stack, which allows AI agents to read wallet balances, analyze investment portfolios, and prepare transactions, but all sensitive operations must be approved by Ledger hardware devices before they can be executed.

The toolkit is the first product in Ledger’s 2026 AI roadmap, aimed at providing hardware-level security protection for AI-driven crypto applications. Ledger said that even if an AI agent is hacked, the attacker would still need the user’s physical device approval to transfer funds or access sensitive information.
