Crypto news: X product lead Nikita Bier said that X has updated its creator revenue-sharing plan. Accounts that induce engagement three times or more will be removed from the program and face a suspension of evaluation. Grok has identified and removed 4,000 violating accounts. The new model improves the efficiency of detecting duplicate content to 3x that of the old model. Monetization exposure of pirated content will be attributed to the original uploader. The platform detected 1.5 million pirated posts; repeat infringement accounts will be removed from the program, and any revenue exceeding $1 million will be reallocated to original creators.

Grok’s recognition efficiency has improved by three times, and the stolen content being monetized goes back to the original authors—this counts as fair progress. But 1.5 million stolen posts show the issue is serious; the repeat-infringement takedown plan is right. Hopefully the platform can truly protect creators’ interests.

This measure is good, but the key is the specific level of enforcement; we hope it can continue to improve.
