This move is a typical “sweep first, then dump.” When $BTC surged upward at the start, many people thought it was about to break through—then once the overhead supply came in with increased volume, it got pushed back down. Panic selling and chasing the rally were both harvested at the same level.

What I was watching back then was the follow-through after the wick. A normally strong market wouldn’t drop back so quickly like this, but after it pulled back, even the rebound couldn’t hold. The structure here clearly changed. I entered a short around 76861.4 and once the price probed down to 64685.8, my current profit is +2754.42%. The room for volatility is very clearly opened up.

In this kind of market, you can’t just look at a single K-line. The key is whether the funds are willing to keep accepting bids from above. Now that the profit has already been released, if you’re in a position, remember to protect your gains. I’ll handle it using 80/20 first: take profit on the main position, and leave the tail position to see whether it can keep pressing lower.

If you didn’t catch the move, don’t chase—especially don’t emotionally chase shorts. Don’t chase orders; wait for a more comfortable level.
