X Head of Product, Nikita, has announced a massive update on engagement bait and content theft in the Creator Revenue Sharing program
​Here’s what’s changing:
- ​No more engagement farming. Asking for replies/follows 3+ times will get you banned from the program and flagged for account suspension. Almost 4,000 accounts were kicked out today
- ​A new AI model detects duplicated content 3x better. Copying viral text, adding watermarks, or editing stolen videos won't work anymore as monetized impressions will automatically go to the original creator
​- Over 1.5 million stolen posts were detected this cycle, so over $1 million will go back to original creators
