BlockBeats message, July 16, X product lead Nikita Bier said that X has updated its creator revenue-sharing plan. Accounts that induce engagement through methods such as “reply to get mutual follows” three times or more will be removed from the plan and handed over to the policy team for evaluation of whether to pause the account. Grok can currently identify such behavior, and nearly 4,000 accounts have already been removed from the plan that day.

The efficiency of X’s newly launched model for detecting duplicate content has reached 3 times that of the old model. Even if reposters add watermarks, intros, or other modifications, the monetization exposure for the related content will still be attributed to the original uploader. This rule also applies to copying popular text posts.

Nikita Bier said the platform detected 1.5 million stolen posts during this cycle. Accounts that commit repeated infringement or intentionally evade detection will be removed from the creator revenue-sharing plan. With the above adjustments, more than $1 million in revenue will be reallocated to original content creators.
