Wu Says learned that Pagga co-founder Alex posted on X that 1inch co-founder Anton Bukov has announced that he is leaving 1inch. Bukov previously oversaw the design of core architectures such as the 1inch Router, Fusion, and cross-chain Swaps. At the end of November 2025, Bukov stopped participating in company operations due to differences over strategic direction and the leadership team, but he still retains his co-founder status and 50% equity. He will no longer be involved in operations, product architecture, or security-related work. At the same time, he announced the formation of a new independent DeFi infrastructure company, Second Tier, focused on building a system that connects users’ economic intents with on-chain execution.
