That quick spike just feels so satisfying. The $XPL long position bought at 0.08436 is now up to 0.08733. The current +255.03% is already right here—those earlier washout moves weren’t for nothing.

At the start, a lot of people got spooked by the lower wick and bailed, thinking it was going to get smashed down again. But what I was watching wasn’t that “needle”—it was whether, after the needle went in, panic would continue. The result was obvious: the sell orders at the low were absorbed, and the price quickly recovered. Something was already off. The real change came after the sweep: it stopped breaking the low, and instead began to run along the upper edge.

To put it simply, this kind of price action is first about shaking out the uncommitted, then pulling the direction out. My approach isn’t complicated either: after taking profits, I take 70% first, and keep the remaining 30% with a protective level to see if it can continue and extend. No fantasies, no stubborn holding.

For those with bigger positions, don’t just stare at how much more it can still go up—think first about how to protect your profit. If you didn’t catch it, don’t chase. Chasing when emotions are at their hottest makes it easy to get washed out on the flip. Wait for the next opportunity, and move when it’s at a more comfortable level.
