Moondream’s Kimi K3 has opened to users
BlockBeats message, July 16: The official website of Moonshot has updated its new model, KIMI K3. After logging in, users can see two versions: K3·Max and K3 Cluster·Max. The official is expected to officially announce it soon.
Previously, a source said the model’s parameter scale is between 2 trillion and 3 trillion, which would make it the largest AI model in China to date. In terms of capability, it is already close to the model developed by Anthropic, a leading U.S. artificial intelligence lab. This progress indicates that the gap between China and the U.S. in the most advanced AI field is continuously narrowing.
As the benchmarked side, Anthropic has not officially disclosed the exact parameter scale of its models. However, industry insiders generally speculate that its Opus 4.8 model has about 1.5 trillion to 2 trillion parameters.
