BlockBeats, July 16: US chip stocks fell across the board. Arm dropped 6.40%, Marvell Technology fell 6.20%, Micron Technology dropped 5.12%, Qualcomm fell 4.40%, Intel fell 4.21%, AMD fell 3.91%, Broadcom fell 3.79%, and Nvidia fell 2.24%.

The storage sector saw a collective plunge: SanDisk fell 8.77%, Seagate Technology fell 7.70%, Western Digital fell 7.51%, SK hynix fell 7.46%, and Micron Technology fell 5.12%.

In the optical communications concept stocks, the biggest decliners led the way: Corning fell 8.17%, Astera Labs fell 6.57%, Applied Optoelectronics fell 6.44%, Nokia fell 6.00%, Credo fell 5.63%, and Coherent fell 5.57%.
