Mars Finance reported that Polygon CEO Marc Boiron said on X that the company is in the final stage of completing its acquisition of Coinme, and will subsequently integrate the relevant team into Polygon Labs. As part of achieving its 2027 profitability target, the company has launched layoffs and is pushing for broader mergers and organizational changes. Marc Boiron said that Polygon Labs is shifting from a blockchain foundation-type organization to a blockchain payments company, and the related adjustments mainly revolve around organizational structure and talent needs. He also said that the company’s current revenue performance is strong, its stablecoin transaction volume continues to set new records, and it will provide compensation and support for affected employees.
