This short finally paid off. $USELESS has been pushed down from the highs, and the order book movement is very straightforward. The entry was at 0.07658; now the price is at 0.06932. Current return is +449.63%. This isn’t luck—when the earlier rebound failed to hold, the structure already showed the tell.

Back then, I wasn’t focused on how much it dropped, but on whether the rebound had sustained buying behind it. A lot of people were still waiting for it to keep pumping. I, on the other hand, felt that something was off here. Once it got pressed from above, those chasing longs started hesitating, and the downside room for shorts opened up.

For this trade, I’m more inclined to handle it by the rhythm. The profit has already been released. Using an 80/20 split for taking profit will feel much better: take some off first, and keep the rest guarded with protective levels so you don’t let the gains you’ve earned get shaken back out.

The most important thing now isn’t excitement—it’s not to add to the position carelessly. During a selloff, it’s easiest to chase with emotions; if you missed it, don’t chase a short. Wait for the next rebound to get a more comfortable entry, then reassess.
