This round of $TRB shorting has been executed brutally. What looked like sideways action at the start was actually draining the people who chased longs. My entry was at 16.26; I’ve now moved to 15. The return is +558.56%. Once the volatility room opens up, the holding experience is completely different.

What really made me make the call is that the rebound highs keep getting lower. Every time price tries to test upward, it’s quickly pushed back down, which suggests that selling pressure above hasn’t dispersed. A lot of people thought it was just a shakeout then, but I felt the structure had clearly changed. The key is right here: after the breakdown, there wasn’t a real recovery—so the short should keep running.

But profits aren’t meant to be shown off recklessly. The more smooth things feel, the more you have to manage your timing. Now I’ll take profit on 80% in stages first, and keep the remaining 20% with a protection level. If it can extend, I’ll keep watching; if it can’t extend, I won’t stubbornly hold. If you didn’t enter, don’t rush—after a sharp drop, chasing chaotically is the easiest way to get “taught” by a rebound. Don’t chase; wait for the next opportunity.
