Abstract generation in progress
On July 9, Multicoin Capital partner Tushar Jain shared his “catch-the-dip” strategy on the podcast show “When Shift Happens.” He believes that buying precisely at the lowest point depends more on luck and is not a replicable skill. The truly effective approach is to build a position in batches. His method is to split the planned investment capital into three parts: the first part is bought immediately, the second part is DCAed on a fixed schedule, and the final part is kept as flex funds to add when the asset drops sharply but the investment thesis has not changed. Compared with betting on a perfect bottom, this approach better reduces timing risk and is more suitable for highly volatile crypto markets.
