AWS CloudFront experiences a partial outage, and some websites return 504 timeouts
According to Beating monitoring, Amazon Web Services (AWS) is investigating a partial outage of CloudFront. The issue affects customers using VPC Origins, a feature used to connect servers within private clouds.
Users in multiple regions report that the websites show 5xx errors and 504 timeouts, and that some logins and page access attempts fail.
AWS has not yet announced the cause of the outage or the estimated time for recovery.
