Hyperliquid’s TSMC contract surged and then pulled back, falling more than 4% during the day.

BlockBeats news. On July 16, according to market data, after Hyperliquid-listed contracts related to TSM (TSM) surged intraday, they pulled back, and the drop once widened to more than 4%.

Earlier, TSMC released its 2026 second-quarter earnings report. Net profit rose 77% year over year to 706.6 billion New Taiwan dollars, reaching a historic high and exceeding market expectations. Q2 revenue increased 36% year over year to 1.27 trillion New Taiwan dollars, while revenue from the high-performance computing (HPC) business grew 20% quarter over quarter.
