According to reports from Beating monitoring, Reuters reviewed documents and cited people familiar with the matter as saying that ZTE Kangxun Telecom, a unit under ZTE, has received U.S. approval to purchase Nvidia H200. Server maker Maginfra has also obtained the same license.

Another company under Kingsoft has been approved to purchase some AMD-equivalent chips. These three companies had not been disclosed previously.

In May this year, the U.S. approved around 10 Chinese companies—including Alibaba, Tencent, ByteDance, and JD.com—to purchase H200. Approval does not mean delivery will happen immediately.

Some Chinese cloud service providers have recently told partners that they may be able to obtain H200 soon. This indicates progress in China’s import review.
