The move just now, stomping down from under the feet, felt very familiar. First, it repeatedly lured longs at the high end, and then suddenly dumped. A lot of people just chased in and got carried away by emotions—yet the real opportunity was actually before the panic.

$ENA what I was watching then was the reaction around 0.10734. The price looked like it was still ranging, but the breakout didn’t continue upward, while the pullback kept getting smoother. Something here was already off. The market’s best at fooling people is this kind of slowly grinding position—by the time most people think it can still rise, the shorts start gaining momentum instead.

I’ve held the short since then; the price has now come to 0.08414, and the profit is already +1042.65%. The trading-range potential has been released pretty directly. This isn’t because I’m only calling it bearish after it fell—those bearish pressure signals were already on the order book in advance; it’s just that many people hadn’t reacted yet.

Don’t let profit get you carried away here. The 80/20 approach for handling it in batches feels better: lock in most of the outcome first, then see whether the move can still extend further. Your protection level must always keep up.

If you didn’t get on the train, don’t rush—don’t chase, and don’t keep killing shorts. Wait until the next time a position is clearly given.
