Mars Finance reported on July 16 that, according to a report by a South Korean media outlet, SK hynix raised up to 40 trillion won (about $30.76 billion) by listing on the Nasdaq market in the United States, with the aim of укрепening its leadership in the artificial intelligence (AI) semiconductor market. Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA (NVDA.O), the global leader in AI chips, extended warm congratulations on the listing. According to related industry sources, on July 16, after attending an event held in Tokyo, Japan one day before the end of his final-day schedule, Huang said he was extremely pleased with the listing of SK hynix’s U.S. depository receipts (ADRs) and called it “extremely successful.” (Jin Shi)
