$LINK Technical Analysis (4H)

Is Chainlink Preparing for Another Leg Higher?

The recent move in $LINK stands out because it wasn't just a price breakout—it was a breakout backed by conviction.

After spending several sessions trading beneath a well-defined resistance zone, buyers finally pushed through with strong volume. That former ceiling around $8.00 is now the first level I want to see defended. If bulls successfully hold this area on a retest, it would strengthen the case for trend continuation rather than a short-lived spike.

What I'm Watching

• Price remains above both the short-term EMA and the 50 SMA, showing that momentum is still favoring buyers.

• The breakout was accompanied by a noticeable increase in trading volume, suggesting genuine participation instead of a weak liquidity move.

• The market structure has shifted from consolidation to expansion, which often leads to follow-through if support remains intact.

Key Levels

Support: $8.00–$8.10

Resistance: $8.60, followed by the psychological $9.00 area.

For now, I prefer patience over chasing green candles. A controlled pullback into the breakout zone with buyers stepping back in would provide a healthier confirmation than entering after an extended move.

Markets reward discipline more than emotion. A successful retest could offer a better risk-to-reward setup, while losing the new support would be the first sign that bullish momentum is fading.

What's your view on LINK? Is this the beginning of a larger trend, or just a temporary breakout before another consolidation?

Breaking past 8 is only the first step—the real question is whether it can hold its ground. If it can’t, then it’s basically just “scamming hornbags.”

EMA and a bullish 50 SMA alignment; technically it’s definitely more bullish, but I’m still worried about a false breakout.

LINK’s recent surge in volume and breakout is pretty impressive, but the psychological barrier at $9 is hard to crack.

$8 held firmly—it really looks good. Wait for a pullback to confirm before getting in.
