#GateJuneTransparencyReport

Gate’s June report is not just about bigger numbers. It shows that the platform is expanding across every front.
Crypto exchanges are often judged solely by trading volume. But long-term leadership depends on broader factors: financial strength, user protection, product innovation, regulatory progress, and liquidity. Gate’s June transparency report shows the company isn’t growing in just one area—it’s building an ecosystem-wide platform.
While many platforms focus on a single metric, Gate’s latest report highlights synchronized progress in reserves, trading activity, TradFi integration, compliance, and new investment products.
Strong reserves lay the foundation for long-term confidence
The most important figure in the report is total reserves of $8.18 billion, with a reserve ratio of 115%, covering nearly 500 user asset types.
A reserve ratio above 100% means the platform reports holding more assets than the amount required to cover customer balances. While “Proof of Reserves” is only one standard for measuring financial transparency, maintaining strong reserve coverage helps reinforce user confidence through both bull and bear markets.
Trading activity keeps accelerating
June was one of Gate’s strongest trading months.
Spot trading volume rose 50.8% month-over-month to $66.1 billion, making it the fastest-growing major centralized exchange in that period.
Meanwhile, derivatives continued to expand as well, with open interest market share reaching 10.8%, further cementing Gate’s position as the world’s third-largest derivatives exchange.
Higher liquidity typically attracts more traders, improves order execution efficiency, and creates a stronger trading environment across the entire platform.
TradFi expansion is becoming a key growth engine
Perhaps the biggest strategic shift doesn’t come from crypto itself.
Gate is significantly expanding its traditional finance ecosystem by launching:
Real stock trading for the US, Hong Kong, and South Korea markets.
Its first Direct IPO Access project, including SpaceX.
Gate Wealth, bringing users additional investment products.
This indicates the platform is moving from a “crypto exchange” to a “broader digital investment ecosystem,” enabling users to access multiple asset classes on the same platform.
New products drive higher engagement
User activity isn’t limited to spot and futures trading.
The report notes that monthly predicted market trading volume is about $280 million, while ETF monthly trading volume is close to $20 billion.
Rising engagement across multiple product categories suggests users are spending more time within the ecosystem rather than relying on a single trading service.
This diversification can also improve platform resilience as market conditions change.
Global compliance remains a competitive advantage
Without regulatory progress, expansion is almost meaningless.
Gate currently reports compliance coverage across multiple major jurisdictions, including Europe’s MiCA, Dubai’s VARA, Japan’s FSA, 47 US jurisdictions, and AUSTRAC registration in Australia.
As global crypto regulation continues to evolve, exchanges with broader regulatory coverage may be better positioned to attract both institutional and retail participants at the same time.
Bigger picture
Gate’s June report is more than a set of statistics.
It reflects a strategy built around three pillars:
Strengthen financial transparency through strong reserves.
Expand liquidity across spot and derivatives markets.
Build a multi-asset investment platform that integrates crypto, traditional finance, wealth management, ETFs, and innovative products within the same ecosystem.
If execution can keep up this pace, Gate may not just remain a leading crypto exchange—it could evolve into one of the most comprehensive digital finance platforms in the industry.
Conclusion
Markets often reward platforms that can grow across multiple dimensions at once.
In the same month, Gate’s June transparency report showed progress in reserves, trading volume, derivatives, traditional finance, product innovation, and global compliance.
The challenge now isn’t proving momentum. It’s sustaining that momentum as competition intensifies and the next phase of crypto adoption unfolds.
