Abstract generation in progress

According to Beating monitoring, MiniMax has updated the MiniMax Code 2.0 desktop app. The new version is rebuilt on the open-source framework Pi Agent, restructuring session execution, state management, and tool calling. It focuses on addressing waiting, freezing, and context interruptions during long-running tasks. The official says the new version starts faster and is more stable even during long periods of reading materials, calling tools, and modifying files.

The new version also optimizes charts and file previews. Users can view charts in full screen, zoom in and out, and download them, and they can also edit files directly in the preview interface. The Finance module has been connected to the Hang Seng Finance Database and Qichacha MCP, and is currently available for an open experience on the web version.

MiniMax plans to add remote control, browser control, target mode, and scheduled mode this month. These features have not been officially launched yet. The official update log also shows that the existing Computer Use has been temporarily shut down due to compatibility and user experience issues, and will be reintroduced later.
