Anthropic to go public as early as October; three major investment banks begin contacting investors

According to Beating Monitoring, Anthropic is arranging meetings between its management team and potential investors to assess demand ahead of an IPO. Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and JPMorgan Chase are involved in the preparations. The formal roadshow and share sale have not been launched yet. The fastest possible listing could be in October, but the timeline may still be adjusted.

In June, Anthropic submitted IPO materials to the SEC on a confidential basis. It has not yet disclosed the offering size and price. In May, it completed a $65 billion fundraising round, with a post-money valuation of $965 billion, marking the first time it exceeded OpenAI’s $852 billion.

If the timeline remains unchanged, Anthropic could be listed before OpenAI. Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley are participating in the IPOs of both companies, but they are forming separate teams to prevent information crossover between the two sides.
