This short position was executed very smoothly. After $TAO started loosening from the highs, the chart never really gave the longs much dignity again—every pullback was weaker, and the short side became easier to play.

My entry for this position is at 277.1. I wasn’t chasing only after it started falling; I had already noticed the pressure-and-rejection reaction at this level beforehand. The key is here: the previous attempts above failed to hold. Once the buying side hesitated, the selling side immediately took over the tempo. Now the price has already come to 200.5, and the profit is showing +1331.25%—the market has released enough room decisively.

Many people lose money due to emotions: when it’s rising they’re afraid of missing the move, and when it’s falling they don’t dare to follow. My approach is simple: once the direction is confirmed, hold it; when profits are released, protect them. If you already have a position, you can consider handling it in batches with an 80/20 split—most take profits first, and the remaining tail position carries a protection level, letting the market decide whether to extend further.

If you didn’t get on board, don’t be anxious. Chasing after the drop often gets you washed out by a rebound. Don’t chase—wait for the next opportunity, and wait for a more comfortable entry.
