BlockBeats news. On July 16, according to CCTV International News, the U.S. Central Command issued a statement on July 15 local time, saying that Central Command concluded a round of night strike operations against Iran at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time on July 15.

The statement said that the U.S. military struck Iran’s command centers, air defense positions, missile and drone facilities, and coastal surveillance facilities, aiming to further weaken Iran’s ability to threaten the safety of merchant vessel crews in the Strait of Hormuz. The U.S. military used precision-guided weapons to strike targets at multiple locations, including Abbas Port.
