July 16, 2026 Market Analysis:

XAU: Yesterday daytime, I took long positions that I entered at 30/35; I did indeed enter early, with a stop-loss at 20. The price dipped to the low of 4017, and I was stopped out, losing 12 points. In the evening, the WASSH hearing triggered a big breakout right when the US session opened at 8:30, so I also completely missed this long move. Then during the live stream, I gave a short around 4065; it topped at 4074. Most of the cars in the group entered around 4065, with take-profit set at 4035, making a profit of $30.
As of now today, it looks like on the 1-hour timeframe the K-line has shown signs of forming a converging triangle. Before a direction is confirmed, both long and short opportunities exist. For shorts, try around 4080/4100. For longs, try around 4020/3985.

ETH: Yesterday, I gave a short at 1895-1900 and a long at 1950-1960, and both times it reached 1965. Most people in the group did a batch, but they basically took profit at positions like 1985-1990, so they didn’t catch the big move. This is indeed also my misjudgment—I thought there wasn’t enough room for the market to adjust and it might still come down, but I ignored that the hearing was for two days. So at 8:30 in the evening when the US session opened, it exploded upward and a single strong bullish candle broke the pressure level I’d estimated, topping at 1946. Since the price didn’t make a second attempt higher and the location wasn’t great, the risk-reward wasn’t worth it, so we gave up the short opportunity around 1950.
As of now today, the market is still mainly bullish. But as long as the range hasn’t been broken, we can try a short around 1950 and try a long around 1903. If the upside space breaks, then shorts should wait until the market reaches positions like 2010-2030. To go long, the range should be 1830-1860. #BTC反弹触及65000美元 $ETH $XAUUSD
