South Korea proposes revising laws to classify cryptocurrencies as national assets

Golden Finance reports that on July 16, South Korea plans to revise the 1950 National Property Act, bringing virtual currencies and intellectual property into the category of national assets, and will launch a pilot for tokenized government bonds in 2027.
