Wu Xuei learned that the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida said that Los Angeles residents Nicholas Aguilar and Jessica Marcolina were charged with selling fentanyl, methamphetamine, and other drugs under the “HotGirlzClub” name on multiple dark web marketplaces, and laundering hundreds of thousands of dollars in proceeds through cryptocurrency transactions. The prosecution said that both face charges of conspiracy to distribute drugs and conspiracy to commit money laundering; if convicted, the drug charges carry a maximum sentence of life in prison, while the money laundering charges carry a maximum sentence of 20 years.
