South Korea proposes to amend laws to classify cryptocurrencies as national assets

Golden Finance reported that on July 16, South Korea plans to revise the 1950 “National Property Act,” to include virtual currencies and intellectual property within the scope of national assets, and to launch a pilot program for tokenized government bonds in 2027.
