Deep Tide TechFlow message: On July 16, according to CoinDesk, U.S. President Trump is expected to meet with senators Thursday afternoon to discuss the most controversial ethical provisions in the “Crypto Clarity Act,” which aims to limit personal business interests in the crypto industry by senior government officials.

Democrats insist that such restrictions be included, especially in light of the crypto industry revenue of more than $1 billion in 2025 disclosed by Trump himself. As of now, the two sides involved in the negotiations have not yet reached agreement on a compromise proposal, and the Senate will enter summer recess in early August, leaving only a few weeks in the legislative window. Senate Majority Leader Thune said that this month, the bill process will continue regardless of whether the final text is finalized.
