Golden Finance reported that on July 16, JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon said the risks posed by Anthropic PBC’s Mythos artificial intelligence (AI) model are a “real issue,” and that the U.S. government is currently paying close attention. In recent months, the rapid development of AI models has prompted the industry and the government to assess potential threats. Previously, Anthropic said its Mythos model is so good at finding software vulnerabilities that it cannot be released to the public, making the issue even more urgent. On Wednesday, Dimon warned at the Pennsylvania Defense and Innovation Summit hosted by Senator Dave McCormick that opening an advanced system to the general public carries risks. “Letting individuals use Mythos is basically like handing them a ballistic missile,” he said.
