Golden Finance reported that on July 15, according to insiders, Apple and Baidu will cooperate to develop AI features for Chinese iPhone users. Baidu will focus on developing an AI-based search feature as part of the “Apple Intelligence” feature suite, which can process images and text, and will be upgraded into a Siri voice assistant for the China version. On June 23, overseas blogger One Jailbreak also found, while dissecting the iOS 27 Beta 2 code, that “Baidu Visual Search” appeared in ExtensionKit. Today, the Cyberspace Administration of China released filing information for seven mobile on-device generative AI service offerings, with Apple Intelligence included.
