Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs: If the US side defaults, Iran will retaliate

Golden Finance reported that on July 15, Iran’s “Balance” News Agency, citing comments from an Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson, said that the U.S.-Iran memorandum of understanding is only valuable to Iran under conditions that safeguard national interests and security. The report said Iran will carry out its obligations on the premise that the other side fulfills its commitments; if the other side defaults, Iran will, when necessary, suspend performance and take countermeasures.
