Crypto World Network news: The UK government has chosen HSBC’s Orion platform as the issuance infrastructure for its first digital sovereign bond, planning to issue it in early 2027. This would make the UK the first G7 country to roll out government debt in a tokenized form on distributed ledger infrastructure. Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves announced the plan.
