$3,000 entry into the crypto circle—how should you really play it?
Many people’s first reaction is: the principal is so small, I can only go all-in; otherwise, when will I ever turn things around?
But the opposite is true: with small capital, you must not rush.
With $3,000, after conversion it’s only around 400U. Its biggest value isn’t letting you get rich overnight, but helping you train a trading method you can use long-term to make money.
Many newcomers enter the market and immediately fixate on 10x coins and 100x coins. After the first trade goes wrong and they lose, their mindset collapses. Then they chase pumps, go in with heavy positions, add to positions, thinking they need to get back to breakeven quickly—only to end up gradually pushing themselves out of the market.
If you want small capital to grow bigger, what you compete with is never luck—it’s timing and rhythm.
Don’t put all 400U in at once. Split it into several portions and use only a small part each time to试仓. Don’t chase just because it’s going up. Trade only the setups you understand—for example, when a trend has just started, or after a pullback stabilizes before you consider entering.
Don’t set leverage too high either. High leverage can indeed magnify profits, but it magnifies losses just as much. The most important thing in trading isn’t how much you make on this one trade—it’s whether your account can keep trading the next one.
Every trade must have rules. When you earn profit, take it in batches. If your direction is wrong, cut losses according to plan—don’t “hold and pray,” and don’t fantasize that the price will definitely come back.
When your account slowly grows from 400U to 1,000U, 2,000U, you should learn to protect your profits even more. You can first withdraw the original principal, and roll the remaining balance using the profits. Even if a drawdown happens later, you won’t go back to square one overnight.
